Kyrie – Mass of Eternal Unity (2023)

The Mass of Eternal Unity will be my most significant work. Bringing a new movement to the year in the form of a consortium means that we will be united for the rest of the decade; it means that 50 choirs will have the opportunity to be authors of one of the most ambitious works ever written. Kyrie has been a beautiful start; in 2024, we will write Gloria, another grand page for this story together.

Galaxias (2021)

We are all stars, we are to illuminate and be illuminated by those around us. This work is the adventure of mutual support. We are lighting our way but the neighboring stars those people who are our loved ones on any plane of existence create and guide that way with more light than we are capable of perceiving.

I Will Dream With You (2022)

The faithful companionship and unconditional love of a beloved animal companion is a profound and humbling blessing in life. “I Will Dream with You,” Santiago Veros’choral piece honoring his departed canine friend, Ruperto, is a heartfelt testimony to a magical bond that often eludes explanation. This work was created to raise awareness about empathy, tolerance and understanding. In order to live a fulfilling life, we must listen to and support one another, and work towards cultivating kindness and synergy in our relationships. By remembering that we are all part of the same species, we can find peace and unity.

O Crux (2017)

“O Crux” is beautiful in the sense of calm it evokes. From the lowest of the low sustained notes to the soaring upper voices, the words and the music become one. The tempo and dynamic changes occur so smoothly as to give the listener a feeling of peace. Yet still at the same time, a rising feeling of hope is exciting. This piece is so very well balanced and crafted, it has become a favorite with women’s as well as men’s choirs in countries all around the world.

Lake of Stars (2021)

Life’s journey is a constant renewal, shaped by choices. Each day dawns with opportunities for change, just like the sunrise over a lake, bringing hope and transformation. Dusk reveals the stillness, stars reflecting in water, reminding us of countless suns that inspire our dreams.

Human (2019)

“Human” emerges as a protest, originating from the stifled echoes that gather strength to forge an unignorable resonance. It’s a poignant outcry, boldly asserting its right to be heard. Within its resonant notes lies a celebration of the intricate mosaic of humanity, where diversity is etched into our very species’ DNA. This composition harmoniously rejoices in the kaleidoscope of genders and the beauty found within our differences, a testament to the unity that arises when we embrace diversity.

Ritual del Nuevo Día (2022)

An adventure towards the ancestral, the tribe gathered around the fire to share their adventures and stories. Speaking freely and sharing who they really are. “Ritual of the New Day” is a piece with a focus on mental health makes words flourish.

Land of Angels (2020)

Land of Angels represents the uncertainty of the time in which it was written. Solo passages, dynamics dominated by PP and P and many moments of silence. Its sound is intended to immerse us in great introspection at the same time that we enter a paradise, a world reigned by angels.

O Magnum Mysterium (2015)

“O Magnum Mysterium” is a profound choral piece that celebrates the miracle of birth. Designed for high-performance choruses, this 5-minute composition showcases the full power of voices.

Two intertwined glances of adolescence converge, unraveling the gateway to an enchanting realm where their gazes intertwine. Within this captivating imaginary world, their eyes embrace, forging a profound connection. As this mesmerizing journey unfolds, a vibrant and wondrous universe materializes within their collective imagination. Yet, as the gaze ultimately dissipates, they find themselves once again immersed in solitude, longing for the lingering magic they briefly shared..

Crucifixus (2017)

Crucifixus was born as a work to highlight school bulling. A piece that paints every section of the text beginning with whiplash and disturbing contemporary writing. Finding the light and the true being in the middle and culminating with a long that represents death itself.
