Twelve ensembles will premiere a major new choral work in 2027–28. Yours should be one of them.
GRAMMY-nominated poet Todd Boss and I are forming a consortium to create a 20-minute, multi-movement work for mixed choir, piano and cello about the paths that lead us to love. We are opening twelve founding seats, with the score scheduled for delivery in July 2027.

Todd and I have both spent years living as nomads, and we became engaged within days of each other. That coincidence is where this work begins. Across four movements, it will follow the journey toward the person we choose: from uncertainty and adventure to encounter and commitment.

Who is this work written for?
Strong SATB ensembles ready for a substantial work with piano and cello: professional and university choirs, and advanced community and high-school choirs.
When will we receive the music?
The complete PDF performance materials, your exclusive license and audio guide tracks arrive in July 2027. Until then, you follow the work every Friday as it is being written.
Do we have to perform the complete work?
No. You can program one, two or three movements, or all four. You are not required to perform it at all: your founding credit is the same either way.
What if we can't fit it into the 2027–28 season?
You keep the right to perform and record the work in any future season without repurchasing copies, and your founding credit remains in every edition.
How will our ensemble be credited?
The work will be published in September 2028. Whichever publisher releases it, every founding ensemble and its conductor will be acknowledged in every edition of the score. Your ensemble's logo also takes its seat in the founding circle on this page.
Can we record our performances?
Yes. You may perform and record the work as many times as you wish, in the founding season and beyond.
