Project overview

A season your colleagues will talk about

In 2027, a new choral program will be presented at Carnegie Hall, bringing together three large-scale works that form a single narrative arc. Rather than a themed concert, this project functions as a triptych: three independent works that speak to one another.

The program addresses systemic inheritance, personal loss, and planetary responsibility without ideology or accusation. It invites listening, reflection, and shared experience across perspectives.

Many directors want to refresh their season with something bold, meaningful, and achievable. This residency is designed for that exact moment: an experience that energizes your singers, fills your audience with emotion, and gives your program a story worth sharing.

A clear win

Give your choir a once-in-a-career stage, with a simple path to participation and a program that directors can trust.

A clean arc

Three works that move from second chances, to legacy, to a world premiere finale that calls us to care for our shared home.

A guiding team

Led by conductor Katherine Chan, with Anthony Silvestri’s text, produced by MidAmerica Productions, and composed by Santiago Veros.

The Last March of Destiny

A work about inheritance, systemic bias, and second chances. It explores the tension between the idea of being “self-made” and the reality of being born into structures already shaped by others.

I Will Dream With You

Born from personal loss, this work reflects on grief, memory, and tenderness. With text by poet Anthony Silvestri, it focuses on transformation and presence beyond absence.

Dear Earth

A choral response to the climate crisis that avoids blame and embraces responsibility. The work moves from observation to awareness, and finally to collective commitment.

Led by artists who care about the music, the singers, and the audience.

Produced by MidAmerica Productions, with Katherine Chan conducting and Santiago Veros composing, featuring lyrics by Anthony Silvestri.
