A legacy in humanity

A work is the most important thing that artists have to give to the world. It is the legacy that we will leave to humanity. The works that we bring to the world are the heritage of humanity, a portrait of what society experienced while the artist was in the world.

If you want to leave your mark on history, portray an event, celebrate or commemorate something or someone special, it is good that you consider commissioning a work.

Build the idea

A Commission always begins with a conversation. Sometimes the idea is already in the air and it is a matter of shaping it. My favorite technique is listening to the stories you have to tell. Anecdotes (like the one that brought Lake of Stars to life), Problems (that’s how HUMAN came to life) and whatever you want to share. Listening I feel that I have the opportunity to meet someone interesting, learn and reflect on something new. The best thing is that after that talk we will build a message that will impact many souls.

The work plan

Now we know what message the work will leave with the audience. So we have to work on the technical part. Poetic resources, form, duration, poet. Everything has to have a logical explanation. If, for example, we are going to talk about everything that the ancient glaciers have seen and experienced until the last of their days, we have to create a work with a duration and a sound that represents that idea. This is where we begin to discover what the work we are going to create will be like. By knowing the technical details, we will begin to know the resources necessary to take our work of art to the world.

This work is yours

At this point you have already covered the remaining half of the fees in accordance with the result of the piece that you have heard and seen the perusal scores. Congratulations, the work is completely yours and you have the copies with your and your choir’s name printed in all the editions. In addition, you will shortly obtain an NFT that – just like the deeds to your house – certifies that you are the rightful owner of the piece. During the period of a season “September- June” no one but you will be able to perform or record the work.

let’s start this journey

Do not hesitate to send your query, I will be happy to help you and start this unforgettable journey together. Joy Hewitt will help us with the bureaucratic part and the coordination of the agenda. That will relieve us so that you and I can focus on artistic creation. To start, let’s coordinate a moment together.
